Active Family Fun Day at Wyndham
Splash out on Saturday 13 March at Wyndham Leisure and Events Centre in Victoria when the centre hosts an Active Family Fun Day from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. This is a chance for mums and dads to get into the water with their children and practice water safety techniques in a fun and safe environment.

C2K Fitness and Aquatic Centre overflowed with fun for the Active Family Fun Day and UNCLE TOBYS® Big Splash Swimathon on Sunday 21 February 2010. UNCLE TOBYS® Ambassador Eamon Sullivan was there on the day to make his Big Splash and compete against local children in a Big Splash Relay.

Australian Government Partnership Announced

Royal Life Tasmania is pleased to announce that they have formed a partnership with the Active After-school Communities Program. The program will now be incorporating Lifesaving as a Sport into their list of programs on offer to school communities.

*RLS, TAS* Launceston Aquatic make their Big Splash
A great day was had at Launceston Aquatic on Sunday 7 February at the Active Family Fun Day. Local kids participated in a variety of water safety activities with Launceston Aquatic Club swimming 2,200 laps in the UNCLE TOBYS® Big Splash Swimathon and raising over $1000.

Latest Drowning Research Published in the Medical Journal of Australia
Research published in the latest edition of the Medical Journal of Australia has found that on average, 290 people die from drowning in Australia each year, with older Australians and river drowning deaths two areas of concern.
